IB Networks was established from direct experience in the business sales process and a clear understanding of where the industry often falls short.
Selling a business is one of the most significant financial decisions an owner will make. It requires accurate positioning, strong buyer engagement and disciplined negotiation to achieve the right outcome. Many owners engage a broker expecting this level of representation.
The reality can be very different.
Our founders experienced this first hand when selling their own business. The initial valuation did not reflect the true value of the business, and when offers were received, the focus was on securing a quick agreement rather than improving terms or driving competition between buyers.
Multiple offers were presented, yet none reflected the actual value of the business. The process lacked structure, negotiation strength and a clear strategy to maximise the result.
At that point, a decision was made to take control of the sale.
